Family therapy

A balanced combination of therapy, coaching and mediation to support different families

Families come in all shapes and sizes. Above all, it’s love, respect and kindness that makes a family.

“Everything has a crack, and that’s where the light gets in”.

Leonard Cohen.

With this in mind, the aim of family therapeutic intervention is to find ways for family members to help each other to explore their views and relationships. It will help you all to better understand the problems you are having and the collective resources that you have to make positive change together.

It’s about improving communication and helping families as a whole to resolve conflicts. It’s about developing a more understanding and empathetic approach towards each other in order to create a calmer, safer, happier home environment.

Themes may include the many different life’s stresses and pressures, blended families, parenting and family dynamics, families with adult children, families without children, additional caring responsibilities for the elderly, and how to manage conflict and competing needs of different members.
