“I have suffered with my mental health and anxiety for a number of years… I was given the opportunity to completely open up and get to the root of my problems.

“I was made to feel safe and welcome. My anxiety has almost completely disappeared and I have managed to completely diminish my routines that I had to follow. Now for the first time in six years, I have a full night of unbroken sleep.”

“Over the past few years, our family has been supported by Inspired Therapy, seven members of our spanning three generations, with relationship, behavioural and emotional issues.

“The counselling has always proved extremely benefical with positive outcomes. To quote one of our family members, ‘Inspired Therapy saves lives’.”

“After years of different therapies and interventions, I was sceptical about the possible outcomes at first.

“However, their patience and considered approach enabled me to make progress with my longstanding OCD.

“If you are considering support but not sure if it will make a difference, I would recommend giving Inspired Therapy a go. They’re one of the good ones.”

Human Givens approach to psychotherapy and counselling

Inspired Therapy uses the Human Givens approach to help people improve their mental health and wellbeing. This is a truly bio-psycho-social approach which incorporates the most effective therapeutic techniques, neuroscientific findings and newly-devised interventions, and focuses on achieving positive outcomes for clients as quickly as possible.

Human Givens is based on an organising idea that we have a number of emotional and physical needs. We work with you to help you find ways to meet your needs in balance, to live well and achieve your goals. The approach gives you a straight-forward framework to work with. It is non-stigmatising and works for whatever situation you find yourself in including anxiety, depression, complex PTSD and neurodiversity, for example.

We are delighted that Human Givens is one of six accredited bodies recognised by the Professional Standards Authority as part of the Scope of Practice and Education (SCoPEd) framework, a ground-breaking framework which sets out clear and transparent standards for the training, practice and competence requirements of psychotherapists and counsellors in England.
